Support our Nonprofit Organization

Duke Mansion is a nonprofit with proceeds being used to preserve and care for this community treasure.

Supporters and guests of Duke Mansion are dedicated to providing critical resources to help ensure that this home and all of the important history it represents remain a part of Charlotte for generations to come. There are two membership groups that provide critical support to Duke Mansion and the other part of our nonprofit organization, Lee Institute. Lee Institute is a nonprofit partner helping public, grassroots and other nonprofit organizations and leaders dream big, operate strategically and accomplish worthy goals. THE COLONNADE SOCIETY

Founded in 2000, this group of generous supporters provide the foundation of all giving by investing $2,500 or more on an annual basis to protect Duke Mansion for generations to come and ensure the development of leaders for the future through The Lee Institute. THE PRESERVATION SOCIETY

The mission of the Preservation Society is to sustain, protect and serve as ambassadors for Duke Mansion, a historical landmark, providing critical financial resources for its preservation while enjoying fellowship and friendship. Membership levels are $550, $750, $1,000 and $1,500.
